Professeur : Guy Mainville



Guy got his first start in Shorin Ryu at the age of 6 years old. He is currently a sixth degree black belt. Since his beginnings, Guy has won more than 400 trophies at international competitions! The first was in 1984, where he won the first prize at a tournament in Québec following a record 400 straight pushups. His last tournament victory was in France in 2004 at the French Open, where he also finished in first plase in the traditional kata category. Guy created the Shorin Ryu Karate School in 2006 at the after-school care SDG Les Copains. The school has grown from 10 students the first class, to currently 170 in two elementary schools, including 21 black-belts.


Karate second session is starting on Monday, January 7th and will end on Friday, March 15th.
Classes will take a break for our end of the year show ( mid-december )
For the new students, the karate uniform is included. There is still room available to register.
If your child wants to try karate, it is possible to contact Guy to do a free trial.

Kindergarten: Friday 3.15 to 4pm
Grade 1 to grade 6 : Monday to thursday 3.15 to 4pm and  4.15 to 5pm
